Create Payment Schedule

Tips image The Payment Type & Payment Method for a Scheduled Payment Request

A scheduled payment request is always an Individual ACH payment request.

Tips image Defining Specific Dates for the Payment Request Schedule

You can specify as many specific dates as you wish up to one year from the current calendar date by entering them manually and clicking Add; however, the system will not accept specific dates that are non business days.

If you have a list of Settlement dates that are already defines and you want to define a different schedule, it is advisable to remove all dates before defining a new recurring schedule. If you do not remove the dates and you define more dates, the new dates will not overwrite the old ones. For example, if your original schedule is defined as every 2 weeks on Tuesday and you create a new schedule for every 2 weeks on Wednesday, without removing the old dates, your payment request will initiate every 2 weeks on Tuesdays and on Wednesdays.

The following is a list of things that would prevent your scheduled payment from being accepted. If this occurs, ASAP will reject the scheduled payment.

·.      Amount of the payment request is greater than the Maximum Draw amount for the day, month, quarter, or total as specified on the account profile.

·.      An account detail has reached it’s maximum draw amount

Tips imageTracking Detail IDs on Control and Global Control Accounts

When making an ACH individual or summary payment request, the detail IDs are not sent to the financial institution with the ACH transaction. Only the parent account ID is sent with the ACH record. In order to specifically track your payments and have them tied back to a specific

detail ID, you may do one of two things:

·.      You may use the Inquiry section and request a "Payment Inquiry". This inquiry will give you all the specifics of each payment request including the detail IDs.

·.      When initiating a PAYMENT REQUEST, you may enter each detail ID as a REMITTANCE item with the amount that you are requesting for each detail ID. Remittance data is carried with the ACH transaction to the participating financial institution.

If the status of a Control or Global Control Account is changed from suspended or closed to open, at least one Detail associated with that account must also be changed to open. Otherwise, you will be unable to make a payment request on this account.
